We kicked off Sarah Martin's big day with a trip to Cracker Barrel on her birthday eve, which happened to also be her 2-year referral day anniversary. I can't believe it's been 2 years since I saw her sweet face for the first time. What a perfect little face it is! The servers brought her a piece of chocolate cake and sang 'Happy Birthday', much to her surprise.
A fit of giggles followed the 'Happy Birthday' ambush.
Jilli and Sarah Martin ended their day with a few episodes of Peppa Pig.

The cake!
Sarah Martin requested a "Dora, Diego & Boots cake" at least a thousand times over the past month.
She loved it.
We also celebrated the birthdays of all the October babies in our family.
Mae (age 5) requested a Strawberry Shortcake cake.
Happy Birthday, Nana!
Happy Birthday, Aunt Gwen!

The Birthday Girl.
You are such a sweet blessing to our family.
Oh, AND Jason got up with the girls this morning and let me sleep until 10:30 a.m.! They brought me a steaming hot cup of coffee and a slice of birthday cake for breakfast.
How did I get so lucky?

Love the pics. Happy Birthday to everyone! Blessings, Debbie
What a fun day for Sarah Martin! I love making birthdays special too, and I'm going to steal a few of your ideas for my Jillian's 7th birthday in December.
I also love all the decorating you've done in the new house, the girls rooms are gorgeous.
Happy Birthday, SM! Looks like a great day and sounds like a good follow up for you, Mom. :-) Well deserved! I love the pic of SM giggling at the restaurant. Sooooo cute!! I wanted to log back on and let you know that you inspired me, Sunday. I spent the morning dedicating one half of Mazie's double closet to a dress up area using SM's area for inspiration. She was spending the night with her GPs and was tickled pink when she arrived home. Yesterday she spent quite a bit of time dressing up herself and our poor, sweet dog, Bella. Now I'll be stalking your Pinterest sites (and blog) for more fabulous ideas. Thanks, Sunny. Ya'll come see us sometime. I believe Mazie and SM have all kinds of common interests! Precious little three year olds!
Sounds like SM had a fantastic day. I like your breakfast the next day. Miss you all.
