My two very excited gals couldn't wait to dress in their festive fineries and hit our loved ones up for gum, candy and chocolate this past Saturday evening. Jillian has wanted to dress as the Red Queen since watching Alice in Wonderland this summer, and I thought Sarah Martin would make the perfect Alice. I was unable to procure a Red Queen costume (and ginormous red wig), but Jillian was just as happy with the Queen of Hearts costume instead. Who knew there was a difference?
The Queen of Hearts & Alice in Wonderland.
Just us.
We began our evening with a visit from Nana.
My little goblins then paid Mama Helen a visit.
Sarah Martin loves to visit Mama Helen.
Helen is the mother of one of my oldest and dearest friends.
We also fit in a short, (but sweet) visit with Maw Maw Mozell.
Sarah Martin and Jillian were wiped out before the Halloween festivities even began.
Our final destination:
Chassey's Halloween Whobilation!
(L-R) Queen of Hearts, Fancy Nancy & a Prize Fighter.
We were also joined by another Prize Fighter, Clown, Princess, Alice and various Athletes.
Sarah Martin's 1st Hayride!
Trick-Or-Treat
We ended the night with lots of fun, food, fellowship and iTunes. The kiddos danced to some oldies, but goodies...I Will Survive, No Parking on the Dance Floor, a little Debbie Gibson and Justin Bieber's Baby. Good times!
