That's What I Get for Bragging

So, yesterday I found myself going on and on about my two little sleepy heads to one of my dear friends.  It took us a while, but both girls will now sleep all night, for the most part, in their very own beds.  We decided to let Sarah Martin sleep with us from the very beginning until we thought she was ready to transition to her own bed and it worked beautifully.  She will still fuss during her "goodnight routine", but quickly abandons her occasional protests once the books come out.  Currently, her favorite "night-night" books are anything written by Dr. Seuss.  Anyhoo, her two year molars are giving her fits and she was wide awake for the majority of last night.  Yeah, I know.  That's what I get for bragging about my sound sleepers.

I turned on the Wiggles while Sarah Martin ate her mid-morning snack and I found her sound asleep on the couch after just a few minutes of TV time.  Bless her heart.

I'm still looking for the rat that took a nap in the back of her hair.  Oh, and that would be cream cheese frosting in the middle of that rat's nest.  I love this picture.

At least she was chipper this afternoon while I cooked dinner.  Sarah Martin was busy drawing on her little chalkboard while Jillian played school.  I could hear her teaching her "students" about bullies.  Never a dull moment around here.
BTW~I made THIS for dinner tonight.

Everytime I have a good night with Miss T or 2 or 3 in a row and talk about, the next night is not so good. I have to try not to say anything out loud and jinx myself. Love all the pictures!!! Miss you all lots.

(SNIFF-SNIFF)...I think she gets the "rats nest" from my side of the family! (smiling proudly) I've came to a conclusion that a good "rat nest" = "a great night sleep"!!!

Those are sweet pictures of Miss Sarah Martin. The back of her hair reminds me so much of Sophie Clare's. I am with you on looking for that rat. hehe
