FINALLY...Beach 2010!

Our family relaxed on the sunny beaches of Florida and Alabama in late July. The beaches were beautiful, the food was delicious and the girls were beside themselves with pure joy and excitement. We saw only four tar balls during our week-long vacation and I can't remember when the beaches of Gulf Shores were more beautiful.

Jason and I will celebrate our 15 year anniversary next summer and we can't decide if the two of us should take a short trip to somewhere tropical or a week-long (or longer...fingers crossed) vacation with the girls. I'm all about leaving the girls with Nana while Jason and I sneak away for a long weekend, but I also think we would enjoy taking them with us and I wouldn't miss or worry about them and we wouldn't have to rush back. Oh well, I still have a while to ponder that one.

I wish I had a dime for each time Jillian said "Are we there yet {{sigh}}?".
