This year's Moon Festival, or Mid-Autumn Festival fell on September 25th (the 15th day of the 8th lunar month), so we celebrated togetherness tonight while we all ate moon cakes under the full moon. Jillian also enjoyed listening to the story of Chang E, Hou Yi and the Jade Rabbit several times today.
I ordered these beautiful moon cakes from China Sprout. We sampled the following flavors: Mixed Nuts, Red Bean, Lotus Paste & Coconut. Some were better than others.
