Jillian will soon begin dance class and part-time preschool, so we are trying to fit in some last minute play dates with friends and family. She loved eating pizza with her great-grand mother and playing with her uncle Perry's new puppy, Livie, today. We are eating dinner with Nana tonight as we await her daddy's return from an overnight business trip to Texas. His absence must have made her nervous last night because she was "afraid of the Cookie Monster" and later nervously announced "the crocodile will get me"! I don't know where that came from! She seemed a bit more relaxed when we talked about monsters & crocodiles, turned on all the lights and engaged the security system. All children must have some childhood fears. As a child, I was deathly afraid of fireworks, snakes, and centaurs.
