Gotcha Day!
This picture was taken when we saw Jillian for the first time. We were not allowed to hold her until the provincial officials checked our passports and Travel Approval. I was so nervous on the way to the Civil Affairs Office that I almost passed out in the elevator. Jason & I often laugh like hyenas when we recall that anxious trip to meet our new daughter.
Our Baby Girl! She was so peaceful & accepting during this time.

We peeled all of these clothes off her tiny body.
Jillian was checking me out, but she remained very happy & content.
She thought that Daddy was something special.
She is still so full of life!

My eyes fill with tears as I look back over these pictures from last year. The tears are of course tears of joy! There was such a long and anticipated wait for Jillian, that we rejoiced when we saw that she had been placed into the loving arms of her new mother and father. You and Jason are blessed to have this little girl in your lives, but Jillian is the one who is truely blessed to have the two of you as parents. Your family is so special to us! We love you!
